About Creative Consulting Group
Creative Consulting Group (CCG) was founded
by Dr Robin Brooke-Smith in 2003 as a high quality consultancy in
education in the UK, EU, and worldwide with special expertise in Gifted and Talented Education and School Leadership. CCG has grown in
scope and reputation, and is a leader in its field as a successful social
enterprise initiative. CCG has two main strands of work:
- Internationally recognised top-flight
consultancy services for
leaders and organisations in education, specialising in Gifted and
Talented Education and School Leadership.
- Work
through effective networks to engage with significant
decision-makers, practitioners, government, civil servants, and academics,
in the UK, the EU and worldwide to contribute
to policy formation, review, evaluation, and research.
Our
Team
Dr Robin Brooke-Smith, founder of CCG, has developed a vision of
a unique educational consultancy group. He has a passion for education and the
creation of richly creative teams, groups, and institutions. He was until 2004
Principal of the University of Toronto Schools and before that principal of Edwardes College, Peshawar. He also leads consultant teams for the
National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth (NAGTY) at the University of
Warwick, and expert teams at the European Commission in Brussels, and
worldwide.
The Consultant Team is composed of leading
professionals with a wide range of expertise and experience. John Carter leads the team. John has broad
experience working with schools and their governing bodies. Until 2005, John
was Senior Adviser for School Improvement in Bedfordshire where he was
responsible for the development of the annual school review, school
self-evaluation and the county's strategy for support and intervention. Prior
to this he was a headteacher. He is now an independent education consultant
specialising in leadership, school improvement and Gifted and Talented. He
leads for NAGTY on Regional Partnerships. Client

Some Recent Projects
Creative Consulting Group has been involved in a number
of EU funded missions in recent months. All related to Asia and
South Asia. See below for details
- August 2004: coordinator in the Evaluation of
Project Proposals for the ECCP bilateral EU-India programme. The
mission took place in Delhi.
- May and June 2004 leader of the evaluation team for the
Asia-Link project proposals evaluation in Brussels (1st deadline) and,
- Nov and December 2004 leader of the evaluation team for the Asia-Link project proposals evaluation (2nd deadline)
- January 2005 leader of the Final Evaluation of the EC funded European Studies Programme in Vietnam
- Feburary
to April 2005 leader of the evaluation team (administrative compliance
and technical and finalcial) for the Asia-Link project proposals
evaluation in Brussels (1st deadline)
